This Privacy Statement covers Axonify’s handling of personally-identifiable information collected from visitors to the Axonify Web site and Users of the Axonify Services (“Personal Information”).

The Axonify Web site may contain links to other Web sites. Axonify is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites. Axonify encourages you to review the privacy statements of such Web sites to understand their privacy practices.

2. Personal Information Collected

Axonify collects Personal Information from individuals who visit the Axonify Web site and individuals who register to use the Axonify Services.

When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Axonify Services or registering to use the Axonify Services, Axonify may require you to provide Personal Information, such as first name, last name, email address, and phone number.

When purchasing the Axonify Services, Axonify may require you to provide financial qualification and billing information, such as billing name, billing address, and credit card number.

You can log into the Axonify Services or comment on the Axonify blog using sign-in services, such as Google Connect or other providers. These services will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to pre-populate our registration form with your Personal Information. Services like Google Connect give you the option to share information about your activities on this Web site and others within your network via the Axonify Services.

As you navigate Axonify’s Web site, Axonify may collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons (“Web Site Navigational Information”). Web Site Navigational Information includes standard information from your Web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions you take on the Axonify Web site (such as Web pages viewed and links clicked). This website uses Google AdWords

This website uses the Google AdWords remarketing service to advertise on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site, for example using the contact form to make an enquiry. This could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page, or a site in the Google Display Network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to the Axonify website. Of course, any data collected will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Preferences page, and if you want to you can opt out of interest-based advertising entirely by cookie settings or permanently using a browser plugin.

3. Use of Personal Information Collected

Axonify uses Personal Information to perform the services requested. For example, if you fill out a “Contact Me” Web form, Axonify will use the information provided to contact you about your interest in Axonify.

Axonify may also use Personal Information for marketing purposes. For example, Axonify may use Personal Information to contact you to further discuss your interest in Axonify and to send you information regarding Axonify and our partners, such as information about promotions or events. Please view the Communications Preferences section of this Privacy Statement to control how your Personal Information is used for marketing purposes.

Axonify uses credit card information solely to check the financial qualifications and to collect payment for the Axonify Services.

Axonify uses Web Site Navigational Information to operate and improve the Axonify Web site and the Axonify Services. Axonify may use Web Site Navigational Information alone or in combination with other Personal Information to provide personalized information about Axonify. 4. Sharing of Personal Information Collected

Axonify may share Personal Information with our service providers to perform the activities described above on Axonify’s behalf. Axonify may also share Personal Information with our service providers to ensure the quality of information provided. Unless otherwise described in this Privacy Statement, Axonify does not share, sell, rent, or trade Personal Information with third parties for their promotional purposes.

Axonify reserves the right to use or disclose Personal Information if required by law or if Axonify reasonably believes that use or disclosure is necessary to protect Axonify’s rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

5. Web Site Navigational Information

Due to Internet communications standards, when you visit or use the Web site, we automatically receive the URL of the website from which you came and the website to which you go when you leave the Axonify Web site. We also receive your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address (or the proxy server you use to access the World Wide Web), your computer operating system, the type of web browser you are using, and your Internet Service Provider (ISP). This information is used to analyze overall trends to help us improve the Axonify Service.

The Web site uses “cookies” to track Web site usage, to enable you to sign in to the Services, and to help personalize your online experience. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard disk through your web browser via a webpage server. It contains information about you that can later be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. Cookies allow Axonify to recognize you as a visitor or user when you return to our Web site or use the Services using the same computer and web browser. Axonify uses cookies to store your preferences so that you do not have to repeatedly enter the same information, and to display your personalized content. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies or configure acceptance of cookies. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to sign in or use all of the interactive features of the Web site or the Axonify Services that depend on cookies.

We use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A “persistent” cookie, is set once you’ve logged in to your Axonify user account and remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. The next time you visit the Web site, the persistent cookie will allow us to recognize you as an existing user so that you do not need to log in to the Service again. If you log out of the Axonify Web site, however, you will need to re-enter your password the next time you wish to access your Account. A “session” cookie is used to enhance or customize a particular visit to the Axonify site. Session cookies expire after a short time or when you close your web browser.

We employ, or our third party advertising partner employs, clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs). Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier that, like cookies, track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, clear gifs are embedded on Web pages and are about the size of a pixel. We tie the information gathered by clear gifs to certain personally identifiable information of our customers, users and Web site visitors in order to assess the effectiveness of our content. In particular, we use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which email alerts have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of our communications and marketing campaigns.

Axonify may collect aggregated data regarding the use of the Services, including, without limitation, number of visitors to the Web site, frequency and patterns of use, tag usage, feedback request trends, etc. (“Aggregated Data”). Axonify uses this data as a statistical measure, and not in a manner that would identify you personally. Aggregated Data enables us to figure out how often users use certain parts of the Web site or the Services so that we can improve them. Axonify may make use of, or make such Aggregated Data available to third parties, in any manner in its sole discretion.

6. Public Forums, Refer a Friend, and Customer Testimonials

Axonify may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on the Axonify Web site. Any information you choose to submit in such forums may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. Axonify is not responsible for the information you choose to submit to these forums.

7. International Transfers of Personal Information

To facilitate Axonify’s global operations, Axonify may transfer and access Personal Information from around the world, including the United States. This Privacy Statement shall apply even if Personal Information is transferred to other countries.

For European visitors to the Axonify Web site and Users of the Axonify Services, please note that in order to provide the information or services requested, your Personal Information may be transferred outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”). By visiting the Axonify Web site or using the Axonify Services, you agree to Axonify transferring your Personal Information outside the EEA.

8. Communications Preferences and Access to Personal Information

Axonify offers Users and Web site visitors who provide contact information a means to choose how Axonify uses the contact information provided. You may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located at the bottom of Axonify’s marketing emails. Additionally, you may send a request specifying your communications preferences to Users cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to their Axonify accounts.

9. Security

Axonify takes precautions, including administrative, technical, and physical measures – to help safeguard Personal Information against loss, theft, and misuse as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

Axonify uses Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”) encryption when transmitting sensitive Personal Information, such as credit card information and Users’ passwords.

Users are solely responsible for protecting their passwords, limiting access to their computers, and signing out of the Axonify Services after their sessions.

10. Feedback Requests via the Axonify Services

User may solicit feedback from others, including non-Users, via the Axonify Services. Such feedback may be provided anonymously. If someone is not a User and is responding to a request for feedback from a User, then the respondent will not be asked to register.

11. Changes to this Privacy Statement

Axonify reserves the right to change this Privacy Statement. Axonify will provide notification of material changes to this Privacy Statement through the Axonify Web site. If you continue to access the Axonify Web site or use the Axonify Services after notice of changes have been sent to you or published on the Axonify Web site, you will be deemed to have provided your consent to the changed practices.
